Families for Education

A Major Milestone

Our school now has a name: Rosewood College

Thank you to all who joined our Families for Education Information Night on Wednesday 20 May 2026. It was a joy to share the latest progress of the project and to announce the name of our school: Rosewood College.

It was an exciting evening, and the updates shared across the night showed just how much progress has been made across every area of the project, from master planning and location to fees, formation, and the next stages of the project.

Rosewood College emblem

The emblem shown here is an early concept and remains subject to further refinement.

Why Rosewood?

From a spiritual perspective, the rose is a nod to Our Lady, and the wood recalls the wood of the Cross of Jesus.

From a human perspective, Rosewood evokes the image of a strong tree with deep roots. Just as deep roots give a tree strength, stability, and resilience, we want children to be formed in the human virtues that help them withstand life's storms, grow in character, and become a source of good for the world around them.

We are deeply grateful to every family helping bring this vision to life.
